Using the Remiix Dubfire app is simple: just touch a sound to mix it perfectly in sync with another (different reels within the app contain loops and sounds from different songs).
So you want to remix a Dubfire track? Well, now there’s an app for that!
Check out this new trend that is gaining momentum in the DJ world - Remiix. Remiix is a fairly new app for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad (first version came out in December 2010). This app allows you remix huge tracks from superstar DJ’s.
Currently there are three international DJ’s that have released their own version of this app - Joris Voorn , Dubfire, and Plastikman (Richie Hawtin alias). In each version you will have your pick of genuine material to work with, the same material that the DJ’s used on the original tracks.

Remiix is made by the developer Liine. Liine also has a few other apps for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad that target the wanna-be DJ’s, the bedroom DJ, and all electronic music lovers alike. Griid, which was co-designed by (Richie Hawtin, and Griid Pro are Abelton Live controllers. Grid is the more basic, less expensive way to try out the app. Griid Pro, on the other hand, is a suite package that includes Cliip - the first ever controller to offer full MIDI clip editing with your fingers.
Griid will cost you $9.99 and Griid Pro is $16.99 via iTunes.
