For the legendary Electric Daisy Carnival, 2011 includes a first-ever stop in Orlando, FL, and what a first time it should be! Headliners include three of the biggest names in all of electronic dance music - Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk. EDC will take over Orlando for two days, Fri May 27 & Sat May 28, 2011. The location for the festival is Tinker Field and it will run from 2pm - 12am.
As for what to expect, Insomniac and EDC continue to set the standard (and raise the bar) when it comes to the outdoor, multi-day, festival extravaganza. Until you have been to EDC in person, it’s hard to imagine what the experience is like. Aside from two full day’s worth of world famous dj’s, there is something for everyone as you enter this magical playground. So bring your good vibes, put on your best get-up, and let your imagination run wild!
There will be carnival rides, swings, merri-go-rounds, and more. As you make you way through the crowd, keep an eye out for stilt-walkers, acrobats, and other various performers - all in the craziest costumes you have ever seen! Something else to look forward to are very special “art installations.” These interactive pieces add to your festival experience by inviting you express yourself through various means.
In other words, get ready for sight and sound like no other, stimulation for all five senses, and back to back dj sets that will keep you dancing for all 20 hours!

Tickets, which are on sale here , are $109 for a 2-day General Admission and $249 for 2-day VIP.
