As usual, there are plenty of great parties during Sonar Festival 2011. Raum is organizing one of the biggest “Off Sonar” parties called East Ender. This event consists of is three different parties taking place over three nights: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Everyday is loaded with some of the top names in underground house and techno. The parties starts at 9:00PM and have no official end time. Most likely the parties will keep going past sunrise.
The location for the event is a park located in the northeast area of Barcelona right on the beach. It is about a 10 minute cab ride from Rambla (central tourist area of Barcelona) and should not cost more than 15€. The closest subway station is CENTRAL TERMICA DE BESOS.
Entry to the event cost 25€ for one day or 49€ for all three days. Tickets can be purchased here.
Thursday‘s event has a Desolat showcase on stage 1. Loco Dice, Martin Buttrich, and tINI are among the talent. Stage 2 features Hideout & Moonharbour artists including Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann, and Luca Bacchetti.
Friday‘s event has Sci Tec on stage 1 with Dubfire, Paul Ritch, and Oliver Huntemann among others. Stage 2 is hosted by the top underground label right now, Crosstown Rebels. Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, and Jamie Jones are the top cards on stage 2.
Saturday‘s event features Cadenza on stage 1 with Luciano, Reboot, and friends spinning. Stage 2 is hosted by Carl Craig‘s label Planet E. Carl Craig is joined by Moodyman, Stacey Pullen, and others.
