Las Vegas - July 4th Independence Day Weekend!

Share

What better way to celebrate our nation’s Independence than to be in Las Vegas where you can make your own fireworks over the July 4th holiday weekend! Las Vegas is always hot during the summer but it’s definitely the place to be over July 4th as people from all over once again converge on sin city to celebrate the only way Vegas knows how. Lavish clubs, new pools and more parties are in store for everyone who chooses to celebrate American Independence in style. As always, we want to provide you with a guide so you can easily set your schedule and save the work for the dancefloor.

Almost everyone understands that the 4th of July weekend in Las Vegas means HEAT! This means that even though there are more pool parties than ever, they will all be packed. Make sure to take care and hydrate yourself so you can last all weekend. Just as other holiday weekends in Vegas the parties start on Thursday night and run all the way through Monday night so if you’ve done it right you’ll probably need a vacation when you get back to work on Tuesday.

Many of the big hotels, especially the new ones, have clubs and pools that will bring in multiple big name DJ’s for the 4th of July weekend. Tiesto returns for another installment of his monthly residency at The Joint on Sat. July 2nd in the Hard Rock Hotel (which has a 4,000 person capacity). If you decide to check this party out, the crowd, the production, and Tiesto’s new sound (which is more progressive) should make it an incredible night! On Sunday, July 3rd Paul Van Dyk is the special guest DJ at Haze which is located inside Aria. Wet Republic, Tao, Tao Beach, XS, Surrender, Marquee, Encore and Liquid, are some of the other clubs and pools that will be throwing parties all weekend long. Marquee has an incredible line up with Erick Morillo at their Nightclub on Sat. July 2nd., Dirty South and Avicii are at the Dayclub Sat. July 2nd and Fat Boy Slim is at the Marquee Dayclub on Sunday July 3rd!

Don’t forget to leave plenty of time to get around as taxi’s will be in short supply over the 4th of July weekend. You may want to consider hiring those limos that are offered upfront next to the taxi queue instead of waiting in line. Especially if you’re in a big the group, the cost of splitting the limo is about equal to that of taking a taxi. Also, remember that a taxi will only take a maximum of 5 people, plan accordingly if you’re in a large group…you might need everyone to get to the party at the same time and splitting up can be a logistical nightmare. Many hotels will also offer concierge services, it might also be worthwhile to see what hook-ups they can score for anything else you haven’t planned for. If you aren’t planning on bottle service all weekend be sure to buy as many pre-sale tickets as possible to the events you know you’re attending. This will save a lot of money and it usually ensures entry.

Make sure to save some energy for the for the afterparty! Whether it’s Drai’s, Vanity or a private afterparty, everyone knows this is when the fun and debauchery really begins. After all, this our Independence Day and if there’s one thing Las Vegas is good for it’s proving that no one can hold you down! Be safe in your adventures and Happy 4th of July weekend!!
