As always, we at FestivalZOO would like to make some recommendations in terms of which DJs you should be sure and catch. For Electric Daisy Carnival 2011 - Las Vegas, which has an enormous lineup, we are going to make it simple and break it down by genre.
Here are our recommendations for Techno/Tech House DJs:
Friday
There is not an abundance of Techno or Tech house during EDC. There is however enough to fill out the night. On Friday the top choices are on the Cosmic Meadow stage. Right after Norwegian electronic Duo Röyksopp (not to be missed btw!), Plastikman takes the stage. Plastikman is Richie Hawtin‘s live moniker and it is not to be missed. Later in the evening, Steve Bug takes the stage. Steve Bug is label boss of Poker Flat and I was fortunate enough to see him spin an amazing set at the Standard Rooftop earlier this year.

Saturday
On saturday all tech heads needs to move over to the Circuit Grounds. All night will be all tech-house and techno: Droog, Pleasurekraft, Green Velvet, UMEK, Gaiser, Richie Hawtin, and Victor Calderone. Droog, Culprit label heads, will start the night with deep-house. Pleasurekraft and Green Velvet will transition into tech house while the remainder of the night will be techno.
Sunday
There is little or none tech house or techno on Sunday
