General Information
Global Dance Festival is now in its 9th year. The festival takes place in the famous Red Rock natural amphitheater and features some of the top electronic acts. 2010 was the first year for the festival to be over two days and year is the first year the festival will take place over three days. This year also features some top live acts as well as the usual electronic acts.

- Time: July 14th - July 16th Show starts at 4:30PM and ends 12:30AM on Thursday and 1:30AM on Friday and Saturday.

- Global Dance Festival - Colorado 2011 will feature 3 stages: Global Dance Stage, Scion Bass Stage, and Euphonic Conceptions Stage.
Venue - Red Rock Amphitheater
The Red Rock Amphitheater is considered one of the top music venues in the world. The Amphitheater has hosted some of the biggest name in music such as U2, Metallica, Cold Play, The Beatles, and many more. Every summer the last 9 years it has hosted Global Dance Festival which have featured the biggest names in dance music. The amphitheater is located 15 miles west of Denver and is naturally formed consisting of two monoliths that are 300 ft high providing perfect acoustics.
Artists
Global Dance Festival Colorado 2011 is stacked with great artists. On Thursday We recommend that you check out Empire of The Sun which has a live act that should be an interesting mix among the electronic music acts. On Friday, Skrillex is not to be missed. Skrillex has headlined some of the biggest festivals this year and should not disappoint. On Saturday, we have Swedish group Dada Life providing electro house, Swedish Avicii playing big room house, and Gareth Emery representing the trance genre.

Travel Information
Red Rocks Amphitheater is located 15 miles west of Denver in Red Rocks park close to Morrison, Colorado. There are some options for people who don’t want to drive. Denver Laxi provides Limousine service from Denver to Red Rocks for a decent price ($300 1-4 people, $400 5-10 people). Red Rock Limousine also has concert packages worth checking out.
Hotels
It might be an even better option to get a hotel room near the venue. Get one as soon as possible as they probably will sell out to the event date. This way you don’t have to worry about driving and you can enjoy an extra beer or ten.
