This is not genre specific, although we selected a variety to help wet the appetites of our hungry party animals! RAW is an all inclusive feature of some of the youngest talent making waves in the scene. We searched far and wide to bring some exclusive content for all you underground heads looking for the next big thing! If you haven’t already heard of some of these RAW animales, just wait as they will be hitting a club/festival near you! Some of these individuals are already making headway on Beatport’s Top 100 and others are just making their way into the scene. Let’s take a look at our first feature, featuring Danny Daze!!

Danny Daze

If you are into the deep/tech house scene, there is one name that keeps coming up, Danny Daze! Born Daniel Gomez with a home in Miami, Danny Daze is not new to the production scene, however he has been making a huge impact with summer anthems “Your Everything” featuring Louisahhhh and his second track on the e.p. hitting the #1 spot “Fall Away From Love.” Danny Daze has been raving since the early age of 13 and has recently found a home with Hot Creations. Hot Creations released his newest e.p. which has been sitting in the Beatport Top 10 deep house chart since it’s release. Both tracks have hit #1 and the calls for gigs are coming in by the minute. With a jam packed European tour and upcoming gigs with Verboten in NYC and Vessel in San Francisco, Danny Daze is proving to be a rising star in the scene.

Danny Daze hit the production scene with his first release “Electronic Boombonic” and followed it up under the moniker Senor Stero and DiscoTech (a collaboration between Danny Daze/Gigamesh/Joe Maz born in 2009) with releases on Ministry of Sound, Kitsune, and their first EP titled “Unintentional Ep” on Slow Roast Records. Although Danny Daze had only met Joe Maz through MySpace, the two started collaborating together with with Joe’s brother, Gigamesh, the Ableton wiz, and began releasing tracks on the internet. Danny Daze has worked with some of the biggest labels in the industry including Universal and Atlantic to name a few. Danny Daze has now ventured out on his solo trip getting back to his roots of deep techno influenced beats. Danny Daze is also very generous with releasing tracks for free on his soundcloud, so check it regularly for some hidden gems. Recently Danny has taken Detroit Grand Pubah’s “Sandwiches” and gave it a nice techno jack beat that can put this track on any major dance floor!

Danny Daze’s summer anthems have been getting huge support on dance floors across the world with major play by Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones! Jamie Jones’s label Hot Creations has really been defining itself as an industry leader with tracks by Jamie Jones “Forward Motion” and Lee Foss’s “You Got Me” driving a unforgetting melodic groove with a nasty basslines and fun loving house beat! Danny Daze is following in their footsteps with some killer tracks that are currently sitting at #1 “Falling Away From Love” and #7 “Your Everything.”

Posted by relentless on discogs: ”Your Everything” is a quite irresistible piece of dark, druggy but energizing house music with a pop edge, and a sure ’11 summer anthem on many a dancefloor. Basically, with its twisted funky post-Jestofunk-sounding rampant bassline and vocoded voice exploding in a mega spectacular climax, it sounds like everything David Guetta ever dreamed of producing, obviously without succeeding one tiniest bit.”

With his funky deep grooves and twisted bass lines, Danny Daze is an artist to catch when he comes to a club/festival near you!
