We are sad to say there has been another accident at a festival. Three people died when a tent collapsed at the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium today. The heavy winds caused the Chateau Tent to collapse with sound equipment and scaffolding falling over people. The tent was crowded of people trying to avoid the rain outside. Reports say that three people have died and 70 are injured. Festivalzoo sends our condolences to everyone affected.

Yet another similar tragedy thousands of miles away… Very disturbing that we must mourn the loss of loved ones because of little to none safety measures regarding the public during terrible weather or lack of action and responsiblity.
Weather can sometimes be unpredictable but they should add or train someone to view the weather forecasts! they can warn of these violent storms that have a chance of crossing paths with a mass public gathering and order the security personnel to have people leave the premises or get a good distance away from the stages and equipment.
