The Electric Pickle Miami has been producing some of the finest underground Miami events in recent time. Many of the Pickle’s events seem to be headed up by promoter SAFE music, which has provided a wide array of international talent over the years. ”SAFE is an underground dance music community based in the humid depths of Miami, Florida. Founded by Miami natives rooted and invested in underground dance music culture for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone.” Electric Pickle can be defined as “Miami’s premier mid-size, boutique music venue located in downtown Miami. A liquor fueled love machine designed as a forum for creative expression.”
Winter Music Conference 2012 has Electric Pickle teaming up with some of the hottest underground labels and promoters to bring you festival size line-ups for all day and night events. We at festivalZOO understand that being at one venue all week is unlikely, so we wanted to give you the best chance at catching some of the best acts from across the globe. Here is our take on the best parties at the Pickle ranked from must see to…well, everything here is a must see, but if you had to choose, this is how we would do it!
GET LOST, MIAMI 7TH SESSION
“Get Lost” is quickly becoming a staple across many of the world’s best festivals and dance parties lead by head hauncho Damian Lazarus and his stellar crew from Crosstown Rebels. With well over 20 artists in the line-up and an almost 24 hour party, you will be sure to catch some of the world’s leading artists in the underground scene. Not to mention a slew of new unreleased tracks are set to come out on the label itself, so you will be sure to find tons of fresh music hitting the Pickle speakers as well. ”Get Lost” will have both an outdoor patio for the day session and indoor activity to for the club dwellers. We are excited to have the opportunity to catch up and coming international artists with the likes of Amirali, Eats Everything, Fur Coat, Infinity Ink (Luca C & Ali Love), Miguel Cambell and more!

GIANT THROBBING ELECTRIC PICKLE INVASION MIAMI
Our second pick (and nearly making the first spot) is “Giant Throbbing Electric Pickle,” the Pickle’s closing party for WMC 2012. I found the line-up for this event to be very intriguing due to the amount of European talent that is often hard to come by in the States. With a great variety of some of the best “live” acts in 2011, the mixture of this line-up seems to be appealing on many levels. Dynamic label owner, Solomun, will be a key ingredient as he brings along some his label mates for some deep groovy sexiness! To add another something to the mix, this party will be going all day and night, a 22 hour party starting at 7am Sunday and going well into Monday morning at 5am.
LINE UP :
Benoit & Sergio Live, Crazy P Soundsystem Live, Tiger & Woods Live , Guy Gerber Live, Deetron, Clockwork, Solomun, Soul Clap, Wolf+Lamb, Shonky, Waifs & Strays, My Favorite Robot, Tensnake Live, Heidi, H.O.S.H, Puente & Rosch, Wildkats, Blond:ish, More To be announced
PLANET e PRESENTS: DETROIT ♥
Detroit has been at the forefront of the underground movement for years producing some of the industry’s finest talent including many of which you will find on this line-up. Carl Craig and friends have been headlining festivals and clubs around the world and for WMC 2012 he has put together a stellar line-up of some of Detroit’s best. This line-up is attractive on many levels, one being the variety. As many of us know from first hand experience, changing up the sound is part of the experience and Planet e will not fail you during your trip to WMC. With a wide variety of different genre’s of Techno, this might be the Pickle’s biggest range for the week. Also, one of the hottest artists of 2011, Mr. Seth Troxler hits the decks for a solo performance and it’s early in the week no less, which gives the audience the best chance for a peak performance. In addition, Inner City will be performing “live” and are behind some of the hottest tracks of our generation “Big Fun,” “Good Life,” and the newest burner of a track “Future” with Kevin Saunderson! The line-up at the Pickle for this Wednesday event will be DILL-icious!!!
