Swimming pools, worldwide DJ’s, and holdouts from the previous week’s SXSW Music Conference. And seminars. And speakers — both kinds. Ultra Music Festival in Miami is a tropical hook up of electronic musicians and minds, all gathered together for 5 days of music, experimentation, and discussion. It also plays home to the Miami version of the Ultra Music Festival. This year sees names like The Crystal Method, Deadmau5, Groove Armada, Carl Cox and Tiesto as part of a strong line up. Good times. There’s an addition of a new vibe this year, albeit a small one (why messs with succes, right?) … they’ve rounded out the line up with more diverse acts to include indie-rock-type acts such as CSS, Klaxons, !!! and more. The 2011 Ultra Music Festival dates are March 26 - 27 in Bicentennial Park in downtown Miami. The Ultra Music Festival has nannounced an initial 2011 lineup! Check back for more additions.
